Poly Tunnel

Poly Tunnel is a tunnel typically made from steel and covered in polyethylene, usually semi circular, square, or elongated in shape. Incoming solar radiation from the sun warms plants, soil, and other interior objects more quickly than heat can escape the building, which causes the interior to heat up. It protects crops from the weather and can shield delicate plants from strong winds, frost, strong sunshine, and heavy rain. Commercial growers cannot afford to lose an entire crop because of bad weather, so Poly Tunnel is an effective method of insurance.
